Message from CEO

Japan is now entering an unprecedented demographic phase in which population decline and rapid aging are progressing simultaneously—conditions no society has previously experienced.
Under what is commonly referred to as the “2040 Problem,” the proportion of individuals aged 65 and older is projected to reach approximately 35% of Japan’s total population. At the same time, the working-age population (ages 15–64) is expected to decline sharply, leading to an increasingly severe labor shortage across society as a whole.
As a result, challenges such as the sustainability of social security systems, shortages of medical and caregiving professionals, and the weakening of human connections—manifesting in loneliness and social isolation—are confronting us in deeper and more complex forms than ever before.
Advances in AI, robotics, and digital technologies will undoubtedly serve as effective tools in addressing some of these challenges. However, no matter how far technology progresses, it cannot fully replace the deeply human experiences of loneliness, purpose, and a sense of meaning in life.
Accordingly, what is fundamentally required in future society is not merely solutions grounded in efficiency or rationality, but approaches to social problem-solving that incorporate a perspective attentive to human well-being and emotional dimensions.
If each individual can remain connected to others and feel that their existence holds meaning within society, people will not lose the joy of living even as they age.
When the heart and mind are fulfilled, individuals become more positive, maintain a sense of mental vitality, and are more likely to extend their healthy life expectancy. Over time, these effects can contribute to a meaningful reduction in the overall social burden associated with healthcare and long-term care services.
It is in this context that I find great hope in the “power of animals” as a vital presence capable of unlocking this potential. It is precisely because animals are living beings that they convey warmth, a beating heart and an untainted gaze. By engaging them with their five senses, people encounter life itself and rediscover a tangible sense of their own existence.
Moreover, animals naturally facilitate dialogue between people, foster connections that transcend generations and social positions, and possess the power to revitalize communities.
A society in which humans and animals coexist and support one another is by no means extraordinary.
I believe it represents the very model of the next era—one in which safety, security, and kindness circulate organically throughout society.
At SAE Marketing One Co., Ltd., we are committed to realizing this vision of coexistence not merely through words or ideals, but delivering tangible value creation. We do so by investing in human resource development and concrete structured support services.
By cultivating professionals who deeply understand the relationship between people and animals, and by continuing to stand alongside each individual pet owner with long-term commitment, we aim to build a sustainable foundation for a truly coexisting society.
No matter what changes or adversity we may encounter, we will continue to view them as opportunities for growth and move forward with determination and integrity.
We hereby pledge that in 2040—and well beyond—we will remain an organization that continues to create hope for the future.
